What is Comic Pull?

ComicPull is a site that allows you pre-order comics and graphic novels, either on an individual basis or as part of a subscription. ComicPull has one of the largest selections of comics and graphic novels available, with a stock list that is updated daily. In addition, we offer our customers the ability to pre-order comics and graphic novels that have not yet been released, but are available for sale up to 3 months prior to release. By securing a pre-order, you are guaranteeing that we will ship your item on or close to its release date, depending on your shipping preference.

What Is Your Standard Discount?

The discount you receive from ComicPull is based on where you live. For US based Users, the discount is 15% off Cover Price. For Canadian Users, the cover price is converted to Canadian Dollars and then a 15% discount is applied to that number.
In addition, we periodically offer additional discounts and specials throughout the year.

How do I change my Pull List?

At any time, you can click on the Pull List link and you will see all the items in your Pull List along with the next ship date. You can add, remove, and manage your subscriptions this way. Remember that any changes made after the 25th of the month will only impact your order for the following month.

When will I be billed?

For all Back Issues and GNs, your order is billed upon completion of your order in the store. No additional charges will be made to your credit card. For comic subscriptions, you are only billed once your comics are ready to ship.

Is There a Deposit?

IIn order to reduce fraud, and keep our prices as low as possible, we do charge a non-refundable deposit of $25 when your account is created. What that means is $25 will be charged to your credit card and held as a credit balance on your account. The system will draw from this balance first when we charge and ship your comics, until it is depleted. Once the $25 is used up, your credit card will become the main source of payment for your comics. Once your credit balance is depleted and your account is in good standing, all future orders will only be charged to your credit card at the time of shipping.

When Does My Subscription Start?

Comics and graphic novels are ordered 8-10 weeks in advance of publication. This is an unfortunate side affect of the way comics publishers do business. Therefore, the newest items on ComicPull will be released in 8-10 weeks. This is why when you add a new series to your pull list, your subscription starts approximately 2 issues later. ComicPull will also automatically e-mail you when you first issues begin to arrive. The previous issues will be available on ComicPull as back issues once they have been released.

When do my comics or GNs get ordered?

If you've ordered Back Issues or Graphic Novels, we place the order for you immediately. If you've placed a Subscription Order for new comics, we place your order on the 26th of the month. Therefore any changes you would like to make to your Pull List needs to be done no later than 11:59pm (EST) on the 25th of the month. All changes made afterwards will only apply to your order for the following month.

How often are my comics and GNs shipped?

So that we don't find ourselves under a pile of comics at the end of the month, we break the monthly shipping into a four-week shipping cycle, based on client's last name. It looks a little something like this:

  • Week 1 - Users with last names starting with A-C
  • Week 2 - Users with last names starting with D-I
  • Week 3 - Users with last names starting with J-M
  • Week 4 - Users with last names starting with N-Z

Users who choose weekly shipping are obviously shipped to weekly and not subject to this cycle.


Back Issues and Graphic Novels are also not subject to this cycle, as all items are shipped together once all items in the order have been received. Please Note: In rare cases, Back Issues may need to be re-ordered from our distributor which can add 7-21 days to the shipping process. If multiple shipments are requested, extra shipping charges may apply.


It is possible to combine Back Issues and Graphic Novels with your Subscription shipments, but please be advised that you will be charged for these items up front including shipping. That total will be held and applied to the full shipment. Please contact us to make these arrangements.

How and where is my order shipped?

We ship all orders via USPS and UPS in the United States, and via Canada Post in Canada. ComicPull currently ships anywhere in the United States or Canada.

How do I order Back Issues?

When you find an issue or series that interests you, you'll notice that underneath the cover image are two buttons; PULL THIS SERIES and BUY THIS ISSUE. You can click either of those and add the series to your Pull List or purchase the back issue individually. ComicPull will immediately place them in your shopping cart. *Please Note: In rare cases, Back Issues need to be re-ordered from our distributor which can add 7-21 days to the shipping process. When ordering back issues and graphic novels, items are held until the total order can be filled. If multiple shipments are requested, extra shipping charges may apply.

What Happens If A Book I Ordered Becomes Unavailable?

Sometimes, books and comics become unavailable at the distributor level before we can order them. This can be for many reasons, including stock shortages, series cancellations or the issue in question simply being to old to stock. We try and maintain the most current and up to date list of items that are available, but sometimes things beyond our control happen. If you have pre-paid for a book that becomes unavailable, your money will be happily credited to your account. If it is a book that you've subscribed to, don't worry because you aren't charged until the book ships from our facility. If it becomes unavailable and never gets here, you'll never be charged.

Can I get Variant Covers and promos?

When it comes to special promos and variant covers, we cannot offer or guarantee any of them. Howevert, if you check the SPECIALS section of the site, variants and other special items may be listed there, based on availability.

Can I request acid-free bags and boards for my comics?

Yes, for only $0.10/comic, we will be happy to package your comics with acid-free bags and board backings. You can add/remove the option from your account at anytime in the PROFILE portion of your account. Unfortunately we are not able to bag/board graphic novels at this time, however we take the utmost care in packaging all items in your order.

What is your return/ refund policy?

Unfortunately, at this time, ComicPull does not offer refunds. As with most books and periodicals, all sales are final. Any issues will be resolved with replacement product or store credit.

What if something is damaged or missing?

If an item arrives damaged, please contact us at support@comicpull.com wth photos of the damage. We will evaluate and replace any damaged items as necessary. If a shipment goes missing, it is the responsibility of the user to inform ComicPull within 4 weeks of expected arrival, so that it may be replaced. ComicPull cannot guarantee availability of issues past their release date, so it is imperative that we know about missing items immediately so replacements can be arranged.

Why is there a $1 charge on my card?

For subscription orders only, we need to verify that a credit card is valid when you create an account. In order to do so, , we pass a pre-authorized transaction on your credit card. As this is only a pre-authorization and not actually a charge, it disappears from your statement within 5-7 days. As a result, you will most probably never see this transaction on your statement. If you do see it, rest assured that it will simply disappear within a few days.

How Do I Cancel My Account?

If you wish to cancel your account, simply send an e-mail to support@comicpull.com. One of our customer service agents will respond and make arrangements for any outstanding balances or items on your account, at which time it will be closed. Removing items from your list does not take into account items that have already been ordered. These items will be shipped to you in accordance to your preferences unless we hear from you otherwise.
